1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Lorix (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Description of service

Lorix is a knowledge management tool that connects to Slack and Zoom and automatically extracts decisions, processes, questions, and context from your team's conversations, building a searchable knowledge base. The Service is provided “as is” and may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time.

3. Accounts and access

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at hello@lorix.io.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Workspace data and permissions

When you connect Lorix to Slack or Zoom, you authorize the Service to access the specific channels and recordings you select. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate authorization from your organization to connect these services and process the data within them.

You retain ownership of all content and data you bring into the Service. By using the Service, you grant Lorix a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to access
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Share your account credentials with others or use the Service on behalf of another person without authorization

6. Billing and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms. We use Stripe to process payments — by subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

If your payment fails, we will attempt to retry. If payment cannot be collected, your account may be downgraded to the free plan. You can manage your subscription at any time through the billing settings in your account.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we believe your use poses a risk to other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination before deleting it permanently, unless required by law to retain it longer.

8. Disclaimers and limitations of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Lorix does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the extraction quality will meet any particular standard.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lorix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
